ACADEMIC YEAR IN IRELAND
Course Description
Our academic year in Ireland programme is designed for non-EU students wishing to immerse themselves in Irish culture, master their English and work and study in Ireland on an 8-month visa.

This programme is included on the Interim List of Eligible Programmes (ILEP) and accredited by the Irish government.
The programme includes 6-months of general English classes from Monday to Friday. After this period students are legally allowed to work or travel in Ireland for an additional 2 months.
Our Schools
Welcome Ireland work with only the best and most reliable schools in Ireland. We have three partners for our academic year programme; Englishour, Everest Language School and Atlas Language School. Our schools are chosen for their academic departments, social program, location and nationality mix. All schools are located within walking distance from the centre and offer both student accommodation and homestay options.
Class sizes consist of an average of 10 – 15 maximum students per class from a variety of nationalities and backgrounds. Additional modules such as IELTS and Cambridge test preparation, business English and conversation are also available.
What’s Included
All programmes include 15 hours of general English per week, course registration, IELTS exam, medical insurance and course materials.
Accommodation
We offer a choice of two types of accommodation; Homestay and Student residence.
