Internship Details

Beaumont Hospital Foundation’s Knitivity campaign, which began in 2017, invites knitters and crocheters countrywide to support this festive fundraiser by creating one, or all, of three Christmas decorative characters – a reindeer, elf and santa – which were sold to generate funds for improvements in patient care at Beaumont Hospital.

In 2017, the response to the campaign was huge and the Foundation has ambitious plans to significantly grow the reach of the campaign in 2018. We are seeking an intern to work as an integral team member to assist in growing the reach of the campaign to different audiences using social media, PR and traditional channels.

The right candidate will ideally be a recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience of working in charity campaign planning, digital marketing, media relations and/or desktop publishing. This is an unpaid internship however a fixed weekly allowance will be provided to cover travel costs.

Accommodation

Accommodation is with friendly Irish host families based a short bus journey from the centre of Dublin.

All meals are provided at weekends with breakfast, dinner and supper provided from Monday to Friday.

WiFi and light laundry service included.
